So. About my bold statement that my teammate was going down? Yeah. Uhm… well… I’m about 10,000 steps out of first place as of this morning. Nearly a full day of walking, in other words. So, it’s possible that I may not be able to make the gap up in the next 19 hours.
I may still give it a try.
In other news, though, I’m feeling good about weighing in this weekend. I’ve hit all of my walking and exercise goals, and the two days I missed my calorie budget I missed by less than 50 calories. Things look good.
Next week should be interesting. I’m on vacation, so I won’t have the structured routine I have during the work week. On the other hand, I’ve already made plans to take my son to Big Bone Lick State Park and to the Cincinnati Museum Center. So, I’ll be getting a lot of walking in. Plus, my son is expecting to go swimming a lot next week. Lots of exercise in general. Plus fun, so everyone wins!
